At Sherwood, we believe children are a gift from the Lord, and investing in them is one of our greatest privileges. Our Children’s Ministry exists to partner with parents in leading kids to know, love, and follow Jesus. From the nursery through elementary age, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where every child feels loved and learns the truth of God’s Word.


Through Sunday morning classes, midweek programming, and special events, Sherwood Kids combines biblical teaching, worship, and fun in age-appropriate ways. Our goal is not just to keep kids busy, but to help them grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and begin a lifelong walk with Jesus.


Our ministry is supported by a dedicated leadership team and an incredible group of volunteers who are passionate about serving children and families. Every lesson, every activity, and every interaction is designed to plant seeds of the gospel in young hearts.

Our Sunday School classes provide a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way for kids to learn God’s Word. From preschool through elementary, children are taught Bible truths through stories, activities, and discussion that help them understand who Jesus is and how much He loves them. Each class is designed to lay a strong foundation of faith while building friendships that last.

Wednesday Nights ​
6:00 - 8:00 pm

Wednesday Nights are filled with excitement as we learn songs, scripture, and a mid-week Bible lesson. Our volunteers will engage with kids of all ages bringing the truth of God's word to life.
