Deacon Ministry
The deacon ministry of Sherwood is built around one biblical principle - service. We seek to honor Christ by serving the membership of our local church through providing encouragement, prayer, and edification to all.
Deacons at Sherwood serve a 3 year term and then must take a 1 year hiatus before going through the nomination process to serve another term.
At Sherwood each family is designated a family deacon. He will routinely pray for you and your household as well as bring encouragement to your walk with Christ.
